American Hole ‘n One (AHNO), founded in 1986, is the world’s largest provider of hole in one insurance and event promotions. Based in Buford, GA, AHNO leads the golf promotions industry with reliable hole in one coverage, prize packages, and signage solutions.
Through our sister company, Grand Prize Promotions (GPP), AHNO offers sports promotions, contest insurance, and prize indemnity coverage for tournaments and business events. Its in-house print shop produces professional event signage, banners, and displays.
AHNO is insured by A+ XV rated Everest National Insurance Company, ensuring strong financial backing. With nearly 40 years of experience, AHNO helps businesses attract customers, manage risk, and deliver successful events.

The Early Years (1986–1999)
- 1986 – Founded in Buford, GA
American Hole 'n One (AHNO) is established as the premier provider of hole in one insurance and prize coverage solutions. - 1991 – Partnership with General Motors
AHNO forms a strategic relationship with General Motors to support grassroots dealership marketing. - 1994 – Expansion into Media & Promotions
Launch of American Media & Special Promotions (today known as Grand Prize Promotions), offering turnkey prize coverage for contests and sports promotions. - 1995 – Worldwide Growth
Creation of WorldWide Hole 'n One to deliver international hole in one insurance solutions.
Innovation, Growth & Expansion (2000–2019)
- 2004 – Innovative Showroom Incentive Program
Partners with General Motors to design the Showroom Incentive Program, the first campaign driving golfers directly to dealerships. - 2011 – Official GM Test Drive Program
Launch of the General Motors Test Drive Program, backed by Chevrolet, Buick, GMC, and Cadillac. - 2014 – Major Expansion Year
Acquired National Hole in One and introduced Buick Drive For Your Students. - 2015 – Expanded Community Programs
Administers the Tunnel to Towers Program and expands Buick Drive For Your Students into Canada. - 2017 – Acquisition by Distinguished Programs
AHNO becomes part of Distinguished Programs, a leading national insurance program administrator.

Industry Leadership (2020–Present)
- 2020 – Strategic Business Realignment
National Hole in One merges into AHNO and WorldWide Hole ’n One is sold. - 2022 – Stellantis MarketCenter Vendor
Becomes an official Stellantis MarketCenter vendor, allowing for turnkey billing. - 2024 – New Headquarters & PGA Partnership
Moves to a new headquarters, and partners with PGA’s Golf Retirement Plus program. - 2025 – Official Vendor in TheShop by FordDirect
